We had another game of SoN last night. The rules have been tweaked to play on a large table in the Peninsula.

We are getting the hang of these rules and they are not bad.

Rommel Rules 6mm

 I have had Rommel for a few years now but not played them yet. I have an old 6mm North African collection which I have not used in over a decade. 

I am currently rebasing ready for a game basing tanks on 40mm squares and everything else on 40 by 30mm. I will be adding a small number to each base and use the roster to record stats and loses.

15mm SYW

Couple of shots of some 15mm SYW Prussians.  One base = a unit for Volley an Bayonet games on my kitchen table.

Last week I painted up some 10mm Blaze Away ACW figures for Alter of Freedom.

Alter of Freedom are grand tactical so one base = a brigade. Although designed for 6mm I have used 10mm on the same base size as 6.

World War 2 - Action at Kassala -1941

Some more shots of my East African collection from a game we put on the Leeds show at the Royal Armouries a couple of years ago.

Italian Askari defending. The figures are in fact Brigade games WW1 Askaris painted up as Italians. Anglian miniatures are about to bring out some Italian Askaris. Italian heavy metal moving forward. Well an M13/40 supported by a couple of CVs.

A closer look at an M13/40 from Army Group North (AGN). The Italian artillery is armed with 65mm and are from the Battle Honours range.

World War 2 - North Africa in 6mm

I have added these photos of some of my 6mm (1/285) North African WW2 collection. Most of my collection are GHQ with a few CinC trucks and bren carriers.

I have recently rebased this collection on 3cm squares for use with Piquets FOB:WW2 . This is an great set of rules for fighting large scale games in an evening. One base = a company.
